Blizzard returns pro-Hong Kong gamer’s prize money, reduces suspension following backlash

J. Allen Brack, president of Blizzard Entertainment, responded to widespread backlash following the company’s decision to suspend a player from competition for a year after he voiced his support for Hong Kong protesters. Ng Wai “blitzchung” Chung will have his winnings returned and his suspension reduced. Brack also said the company’s relationship with China had “no influence” on their decision to suspend blitzchung.
