Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee has reportedly passed away. He was 95.
According to TMZ, an ambulance headed to Lee’s home in the Hollywood Hills on the morning of Monday, Nov. 12. He was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he passed on.
The outlet reports he was in failing health over the last year. Still, he played an active role in MCU creations to the end.
Lee has had an enormous influence on pop culture, most recently thanks to the box office-busting Marvel films. He famously made small appearances in all of them, from 1989’s The Trial of the Incredible Hulk to 2018’s Venom.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, he played a role in the creation of a number of MCU characters, including Black Panther, Spider-Man, X-Men, The Mighty Thor, Iron Man, The Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk, Daredevil, and Ant-Man.
